Hi, Dot!
I caught DS running around with my "tangible" today. He pulled it out of the desk drawer. You don't want to know where he *almost* (gulp) put it! :hammer:

I'm glad you rescued it!

Me, too.
Me three...although my problem is with the Capital One bunch.![]()
What's a tangible?
Something real. Something you can touch.
We don't get to do that around here, so the things that we send one another or in this case, leave for someone to find, are our tangibles.
I mailed a payment to them last Friday (mind you it goes from here to CT), and I fully admit that it was also due on Friday, but oh well. So, they called us today (technically 1 business day after its due date) looking for the payment. I told them how I had sent it friday and apologized for it getting there late. Well, apparently I'm supposed to allow 10 days for payment to be processed. Who are they kidding?1 Anyway I agreed to let them take the late fee out of my checking account, but I was soooooo PO'd!

I can :lookarounI can't believe I have that exact same outfit! :ROFLOL:
Yes, I'm assuming they'll raise our rates now too. I just thought it was pretty nervy of them to call when the payment was only one day late, and is no doubt at its destination by now! 10 days?????? !!!!!!!Well, unfortunately, I had to make a payment on my Capital one late a couple of times, because of when paychecks fell...now, they have the right to raise my interest rate after something like that, but they jacked it up to 28% and raised my minimum by $90.So, I am cancelling the account and looking to transfer my balance somewhere else. I need to call them soon, but I've been dreading it.
I wish I could......I say we all go on a bill-paying moratorium!
Oohhhhh. *light dawns on blonde girl* Got it. :king:Something real. Something you can touch.

Dave's pretty adamant about keeping our banking off the internet, so it's not an option for us.Have you thought about making your payments online, Betty? I do it that way now and its soooo easy. I schedule the payment to be made on the due date, and the amount I enter gets debited from our checking account. And it usually occurs a day or two after the due date....But no late fees are charged, b/c it's on the cc company to actually debit the money out.
I have had that problem and then they tell you for a fee you can do it on the net.:hammer: Lets see price of stamp or fee.:shrug:I mailed a payment to them last Friday (mind you it goes from here to CT), and I fully admit that it was also due on Friday, but oh well.
