I would have to say AE. I loved Horizons, but it didn't have that "Gotta ride again" factor that AE had. Also AE was an original innovation that was way ahead of its time.

Horizons...no other ride is even close in my book. My all time favorite.

I hope someday Disney has another ride that even clomes close.

These are my 2 favorite extinct attractions and might be the most popular extinct attractons on this message board. Actually, if I had my top 5 WDW attractions of all time, both of them would be there.

Of course, I would choose AE if I had to choose one. While they are completely different attractions, the one things Horizons and AE have in common is that they are Disney at their absolute best.

To compare AE and Horizons is like comparing apples and oranges. They both fit in very well with the themes of the parks, they both had state-of-the-art (for their times) technology, and were both masterpieces of Disney Imagineering.

Though I never went on AE (I don't like scary attractions), my heart still goes to Horizons. You know you did your job when you get people to think after they've ridden it.

Horizons all the way. I loved AE too, but Horizons was just Disney classic and I think Walt would also be sad to see it gone. No one got sick on it either.

Horizons. No question.

AE was an outstanding attraction, and its replacement sounds like a travesty. However, Horizons was a classic that ended before its time. I would love to see it restored in some capacity and done in a way where scenes could be updated and replaced to remain current and up-to-date.
