Anyone know why I can't make ressies for Hoop dee doo online. I am past my 180 day mark (trying to make it for 1/25/12). Nothing in January for Hoop is showing up. I made all my other reservations for that week so I think I should be able to. Trying to do it online because I think the hold time will be long today.
Any thoughts? Thanks

I suspect with the free dining offer that came out yesterday people will be making adr's like crazy. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

Hoop De Doo online has not been working for awhile now...I have no idea why. Also, they are testing new times for the Hoop De Doo. Online actually still has the old times listed. The early show is now 4:00, which I think is insane for dinner. Then it is 6:15 and 8:30.

Today the wait on the phone was MUCH better than yesterday. Yesterday was crazy!

Maybe it's not working because of changes, I guess i will be calling, thank you.
I actually like the 4:00 time, we could go to Hollywood studios for a short day (neither one of my kids really care to go there) then head off for an early dinner. A shorter day while we are there will be a nice rest.
I would have a hard time eating dinner at 8:30. Oh geez I would be much too hungry by that time.:ROFLOL:

ummm.... because a LOT of stuff on the Disney Website doesn't work on any given day? :)

Best approach - get a MagicJack. Connect to a speakerphone enabled telephone. CALL (FREE!). Allow WDW the joy of having their phone system clogged, and their personnel costs escalate :). Eventually? A bright executive will figure out that the Web is cheaper... all they have to do is actually invest the money to make it work.... like little companies (Amazon) do :).

Good luck - I've been booking Disney trips since 1997, and have been a travel agent with much interaction with Disney specifically since 2004... I've seen minor, very small, teeny incremental changes made over those years - but nothing that even comes close to having an enterprise class web presence with the ability to handle peak loads.

I've even seen them reduce the phone hours of the call center - anyone remember when the call center was open until 11pm?

Like you said, unless someone at the top puts big money and priority into Disney IT, this will never happen.
