Hollywoods Entrances need to be redone?

With all the new additions to Hollywood and the possible name change. Does anyone else feel that the park entrances and the parking entrances are out dated and need to be updated?

Yes, there have been permits that indicate that there are plans to re-configure the entrance to the park. There are also very strong rumors of parking garages coming to the park.

The permits your referring to are they to move where you go into the park? Because I was meaning the whole old Hollywood movie studio look needs to be reimagined and made fresh for the new park attractions and new name

There is no studio look on Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd, it is just Hollywood. No more old than Main Street, USA.

Disney's California Adventure has the same entrance out in California. I like it. Has a classic, nostalgic feel to it. I see no need to change it, or any part of the main drag.

No, they are for the roads that lead into the parking lot, not the entrance park itself.

I like the look of the entrance ways, both to the park itself and the Animation Courtyard. I liked the Monsters Inc. display they had put a couple of years ago outside the entranceway leading from the bus stops too. They should have more things that wow us as we move from the bus stops through that dead zone leading to the entrances.

No, I think they should definitely keep the old Hollywood look of the front of the park. If they want a park about movies then they can't simply ignore the beginning of movies. Though, I do think the front entrance gates can be redone/updated.

I'm sure when the park is rebranded, the entrance will be redone as well. If it's no longer going to be called Hollywood Studios, then they'll probably do something that matches the theming of the new park identity.

But it's still going to be a movie based park, and the entrance and Sunset Blvd are about Hollywood in general, not specifically about movie production.

Disney's California Adventure has the same entrance out in California.

For some stupid California mid-level executive reason, the 's is to be left off of this one park only - Disney California Adventure. I've always thought that this was really stupid, especially since we have Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, etc.

The entrance gate to DHS were redone a few years ago to the current retro style. I don't see Disney spending any money to update them unless the renaming calls for it! Maybe repaint, but that's all I can see them doing! If they did redo the entrance gate, Lord knows how long that would take!

'Disney' began replacing 'Disney's' nearly a dace ago. Walt Disney World maintaining the 'Disney's' branding is now the anomaly.

It will still be Hollywood related.

I totally agree! I absolutely loved the Monssters Inc display. It's been my favorite so far.
