Hollywood Studios to be divided into lands?

I kind of like the Endor theming, but it would be cool if they built little areas themed like several Star Wars planets. Imagine being able to walk around the Hoth ice planet.
Can you say Ice station Hoth! I wonder what flavors of coke they have in a galaxy far far away.:lookaroun

What DHS really needs to do is take out Pizza Planet and Al's Toy Barn Area (circa 1995-1999) and replace it with new Muppets eateries and/or attractions. The Muppets have so much untapped potential that could really fill a whole land from right after Tatooine Traders up to San Francisco street. And Toy Story gets a new home in Pixar Place. It's a no-brainer.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the Studios all ready split into makeshift "lands"? Like, look at this map:

Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Streets of America, Commissary Lane, Mickey Avenue, Animation Courtyard and Sunset Boulevard.

I thought those were technically the "lands" of the Studios. But I guess what they're talking about here is to make more prominent lands such as how Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom are set up. That's my thinking anyway.

They were, although they weren't necessarily that easy to determine.

However, it would be really easy with some additional designation.

Hollywood Blvd. - modern Hollywood
Sunset Blvd. - classic Hollywood
Animation Ct. & Pixar Place - duh.
City St. (sorry don't like Streets of America) - living set
Epic Ave. - experience first-hand some of the biggest action-adventure moments.
Commissary Lane - Meet some of your favorite stars
TV Shores Dr. - The fun of the small screen
The Backlot - see first hand how Hollywood makes its magic.

That's just one way, but it divides very easily, and it would only take a little bit of superficial barriers and themeing.

I would love for a Lucasfilms Studios to be added to the studios. I think it's a great Idea, and I like the Backlot Express Idea.
I also hope one of the lands added would be Muppet Studios.
IMO the possiblities with The Muppets are endless, and I think it's really sad Disney doesn't make more rides and attractions based around Kermit and Co.

Personally, I am hoping for more Pepino Rodrigo Serrano Gonzales in the Studios, okay?

And some Holiday Special goodness on Christmas, er, Life Day. :D

I'd love to see an entire Muppets area, though I doubt Disney sees that as very viable.

Wasn't there once a ride in the planning stages like the Great Movie Ride only with Muppets parodying various movies?

Another thing I'd love to see, a show in the style of Country Bears or Enchanted Tiki Room featured the Emmit Otter Jug Band, with special appearance by the Riverbottom Nightmare Band.

Exactly. Also...Pixar Studios....etc etc...we discussed this in the new name announcement thread....

Wouldn't they also be able to expand into the parking lot in that area of the park?

Yes, the area behind the Indy Stunt Show is a designated expansion plot. The stunt show would have to go though, unless the access to it came from basically the front of the park.

I love the Emmit Otter Idea! That could be so awesome! How about an Elvis muppet makes the special guest appearance instead, just to jazz things up a little bit...:p
