Not sure if anyone already started a thread, but I was wondering what may be in store for the 25th anniversary on May 1. Thoughts?

I'm sure WDWCelebrations are running a fan meet. Given the official lacklustre and profit-driven Epcot30 I'd say fan orientated events are the way forward. Shame, since WDWs 40th was quite good.
I have little doubt the requisite pins/t-shirts/etc. will be available (on a limited time basis, of course). But outside of perhaps a special fireworks show I'd say you're probably right....

They said in the Imagineering session the hat was toast at DHS20, still waiting.

They really need to build another TSMM. If they're 86'ing the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show, build it there. If they're going all-out with CarsLand replacing Studio Backlot Tour, build something like Mission: Space, but with Planes as the theme. Have 5 major areas: Lucas, Cars, Pixar, Sunset Blvd, and the dining areas in the middle.

WALL-E would probably fit better in Tomorrowland than in HS. Maybe turn the speedway into the chairs that the people on the ship sit in and navigate your way to help WALL-E or paint the cars in Wreck-It-Ralph theme, like with the candy stuff.

I would love to hear them announce something for the park on the 25th, maybe something about star wars (hopefully). I also wouldn't mind seeing them announce something unexpected either like a Wreck-It Ralph attraction or anything really (not that any of this would happen, just one mans dream)

Yeah, a Sugar Rush Raceway would probably work better than Wall-E. Otherwise, turn Space Ranger Spin into a Hero's Duty attraction.

Simple thing would be to actually put a Pixar attraction in the vacation Soundstage 1 right next to TSMM. Maybe something like the Monsters Inc door coaster than was originally planned for that space.

Also, the VOTLM building isn't all that big; I'm skeptical you could even fit a small Fantasyland style dark ride there.

New benches!!

Seriously, I think 25 and 50 anniversaries should be a big deal. At least have some awesome fireworks!
Wouldn't it be cool if they announced they were taking down the BAH? Or even did it?

They can blow the hat up in front of us :D but I think they will give out a pin, do a speech/show like epcot 30 and then do a firework show over the theater/hat
