So, I snagged a Fanatsmic Dinner Package ADR at Hollywood brown derby. Can anyone tell me if there is a dress code and when do we show up at Fantasmic?
Thanks!

What time is your dinner?

There is sort of a dress code, but it isn't ever enforced. I think guys aren't supposed to wear tank tops, no torn clothing etc. Pretty lax code.

When you should show up for the show depends on the time of year, how many showing of F! that day and how many in your party.

I'll be there a few days after you for star wars weekend! I would line up around 8:20 to get a decent Fantasmic! spot with the dinner package that day.

Have a great dinner! I HIGHLY recommend the Filet. When we've done the package, I think we've arrived about an hour before show time, but it's been years so dont go by me. Have fun!

Great! I am mostly doing the package so we don't have to spend 2 hours waiting in line before they open the stadium but I've been wanting to eat at HWBD for a while. Can anyone tell me what the reserved space is like?

we also do the package to avoid the line. the seating used to be off to the side, fine view, but recently moved to center stage. i like it a lot better, didn't know what i was missing!
my recommendation is to arrive about 30 min before the show. we don't want to waste an hour sitting there if we can be doing something else. by 30 min it is getting full, but we have never been shut out. it's a "cutting it close but you'll be fine" situation. just don't get there after that, they do let other start jumping in (on crowded nights) at 30 min out.

oh,and, you will not regret eating there. we LOVE the place.

Have tried the package twice with Brown Derby and food was amazing not times, highly recommend the salad to start, I think it's a cob salad?! Is that a real thing?! Maybe crab, I don't know but it was unbelievable... 3people at our table had it and all loved it

Not to get off-topic, but I also have a question about the Brown Derby in relation to the Fantasmic package...

The WDW site shows a pre-set package price that includes 1 entree and 1 dessert. So basically for the Fantasmic package you pay a set price but can still select ANY entree and ANY dessert on the regular menu for that set price?

I assume if you want an appetizer or something you can order it in addition to, but for extra cost?

I guess my biggest concern is that even with the Fantasmic package you still can order from the full, regular menu.

It must have changed since I was there as we could order an appetizer main and desert, I think it was a special menu (ie not the full menu) but there was plenty of choice.
