I always book the H&V when I have a large group that wants to eat at the same time. I find that no one likes everything on the buffet, but everyone (including kids) finds something that they like.

It is the only restaurant on property that my family unanimously voted we have zero desire to return to ever again. Other places do buffets much better, maybe try Cape May Cafe at Beach Club or Crystal Palace in the MK. If you were planning to do the Fantasmic package, maybe try Mama Melrose.
We are doing Cape May Cafe our first night at Disney. We have the Crystal Palace booked for Sundays dinner and we have done the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose a couple years ago. Thanks for your suggestions anyways. Will give Hollywood& Vine a chance & hope for the best!!

We weren't able to get Mama Melrose w/ the Fantasmic Pkg. this year. :(
But, we were able to get Hollywood & Vine again. :)
I would like to try Mama Melrose, but hearing alot of people talk, we were lucky to get the Fantasmic Pkg. at all due to the limited Fantasmic showings.

Hi my DH has an "issue" with 50 Prime time (does not like string beans and his "aunt" made him eat them :ROFLOL:) the last time we ate at Mama Melrose a little girl I met in the washroom summed it up quite nicely by saying "That salad was nasty:eek:) We also ate at the Sci Fi and didn't really like that except for the milk shakes:slurp:......so this year we gave HV a go and it was pretty good. I have never been to the Brown Derby at DHS maybe this year. Kinda running out of options for DHS ....but that's OK no fear that you'll ever go hungary at Disney.
