I mean... If it's swing or big band music with streetmosphere characters participating and there's no stage involved then I'm down!what if it is a 1930's/40's dance party? hehe

To be fair - this stage is like a riser. No roof and doesn't actually block the Chinese Theater.Glad we saw the theater unobstructed a couple weeks ago.
Thanks for the description. Is there no big scaffold like lighting rigging system all around it?To be fair - this stage is like a riser. No roof and doesn't actually block the Chinese Theater.

Both of those had shows though and fireworks to end the night. This is simply a DJ.Am hoping that too. But rigging was added for SWW/Frozen last year.
The stage is actually borderline classy....the same cant be said for the entertainment unfortunately.

I haven't. But I have seen plenty of kids and teenagers join in on dance parties.
You could probably put a goldfish in a bowl on a stage at Walt Disney World and some people stop and stare at it for 20 minutes. That doesn't mean Disney should stoop to such low levels as the source of the entertainment. Disney used to be about quality.
They have been playing Fergie by the Wilderness Lodge pool for years now. For whatever reason Disney is putting entertainment higher than keeping with the theme.
If people need entertainment, isn't it enough just send the hilarious Citizens of Hollywood down in front of the Theatre? They usually attract a nice crowd and actually belong there.I wish Disney would get back to being Disney, its starting to become no different than anywhere else.
If I started dancing, people would be willing to pay $100 just to get out.How many people actually want to dance in a theme park you just paid $100 to get into?!
In light of the upcoming holidays, I would happily partake in a Repeal Day dance party. It fits the period (early) and is kind of kid friendly from a public safety perspective, right?what if it is a 1930's/40's dance party? hehe
