Something's a little odd with the Season's Greetings show this year.

Last year, there were four vignettes. The main animation of each vignette was accompanied by a song. Then there was a second song with a holding pattern projection. Then, move on to next vignette.

This year, from the videos I've seen, the second song plays, but at a greatly reduced volume such that you barely hear it. Then it's cut short by the next vignette that starts playing. Odd.

Anyway, here's the playlist from last year, which is the same this year, except the second song of each pair is greatly diminished.,,

Hype? Who hypes it besides blog posts? I mean, they told us what to expect and that's what they delivered. (Not saying it's amazing but they really didn't over promise anything)

I personally found the 2018 version to be better minus the last 2 minutes. The last 2 minutes is light years better in 2016.

I actually think the show has overall improved. Yes the big shells are missing, but it really only affected the finale. The majority of the show has greatly improved.
