Santa looks so much better like that than at Beach Blast. Although it was nice to have Sunshine Plaza decorated. I always thought Beach Blast was a better fit for Paradise Pier.

yeah, some areas of DCA are lacking christmas decor, but it's easy to understand why. with all the construction going on, and the ongoing expansion.. they kinda took a break with all the christmas stuff. I imagine once everything is finished they will dress up the park for the holidays again. Holiday WoC can't come soon enough

Candlelight Processional is this weekend at Town Square, with 2 shows each night at 5:30pm and 8:00pm. Guest host is Jon Voight.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade is effected with its show times at 1:00pm and 3:30pm.

Cast Member Holiday Parties-Today Monday Dec 7 and tomorrow Dec 8 Disneyland will open at 8am and close to guests at 6pm, DCA will be open till 9pm.

The Town Square location is so much nicer and grand than when they shoved it in to Fantasyland Theater years ago. Nothing like the Candlelight Choir sing down a darkened Main Street.

Holiday Shopping Festival

Another new offering this year is the Holiday Shopping Festival .

I just found out about this yesterday, and they were still setting them up this morning. The Disneyland Resort is trying to create a "holiday festival environment" by setting up merchandise tents on both the East and West side of the esplanade. The tents will be open daily through January 3rd.

The East esplanade will have a Disney toy tent, a LEGO tent, a tent offering Snuggies (yes, I'm serious), one with sunglasses, and a La Brea Bakery tent offering pie-by-the-slice.

The West esplanade has a tent with candles, one with flat irons (for your hair), one with jewelry, one with personalized ornaments, and one demonstrating Ridemakerz toys.

Disney's Electrical Parade returned last night for a holiday season run and with some more enhancements this time to the Caterpillar in the Alice unit back during Summer Nightastic! DEP got a new soundtrack, the return on Snow White and Pinocchio, new Tinker Bell opening float, the pixie dust trails on all the floats, new wings on Elliot and the butterfly and removed the Dumbo unit and Blue Fairy-

An excellent video of Christmas on Main Street from the 60's, 70's and 80's, wow how things have changed and really ramped up in the past year or 2 with the snow effect on the tree and everything. I wish they would release more video!

Disneyland Resort parking is reportedly completely full as of 5pm, including all off-site lots and Downtown Disney.

Signs around the Resort say Theme Park Parking is full, but as of 5:25 the structure is still open. Downtown Disney parking is closed.
