We're hoping to do Holidays around the World at Epcot on the 24th - has anyone done this and have suggestion on getting to all the shows or have an idea of the schedule?

If by the 24th you're referring to November 24th, then you might be a little disappointed as the actual events/activities for Holidays Around the World do not officially start until November 28th.

I would add Norway...the story is very cute.

Also try to schedule time in for the tree lighting and to sit and watch the Lights of Winter (archway between FutureWorld and World Showcase). It's a little quaint compared to Osborne Lights...but nice in it's own right.

I've found that by planning the times, you can visit them as a casual pace. Do the "lesser" events during the day and leave some, possibly as a repeat for the night when they're a bit more magical.

Also try to schedule time to hear the Voices of Liberty in the American Adventure (at least for one set...and they do different music in different sets).

If that isn't enough, regular performance bands like Off Kilter mix in some holiday music (in their own style of course) in their sets.

I did not realize that their was this much stuff at Epcot alone. Is 5 days enough to do WDW at Christmas? I will be going the Sunday after Thanksgiving thru Friday. I am doing MVMCP & Candlelight Procession. Does Animal Kingdom do anything for Christmas or can I just do a half day there?

Is 5 days ever enough at the World?

But, to answer your question, you should get a very good taste. Studios holiday is just Osborne, (oh, and some holiday cheer by Mulch Sweat and Shears) so that can be part of one evening, you're doing VMCP, so that will cover MK +, Epcot does have a lot, large and small, probably plan to spend 2+ days there.
AK just has an overlay (Jingle Jungle) to it's parade....and Santa Goofy at camp MinnieMickey. There is some stuff at DTD, but I don't think you will be shortchanged if you miss it.

For a great Santa picture, consider his visit on the right side of American Adventure (with Mrs. Claus)

I agree with Clemson Tigger.
