Holiday Magic Dec 2012 Beach Club/Dolphin Trip Report

Who: Mukta (that's me!) and Amber (my cousin-in-law). This is a picture of us from our Sept 2011 trip. We are both Premier pass holders who visit DL weekly and try to visit WDW at least once a year. She was in WDW in June 2012 and I was there Sept 2012.
She has never seen the holiday offerings, so we are going mainly for that.

We are checking into the Beach Club tomorrow morning, after taking a red eye flight from CA. We will stay at the BC for 3 nights and then we move to the Dolphin for a night. I am very attached to the Epcot area, so I am hoping that if I like the Dolphin enough, I can go to WDW more often and stay there for half the price of the BC.

Our flight is at 11 pm tonight. Here is our itinerary

Fri 12/7/12 - Arrive, Epcot morning to see Test Track, a few things in FW, a few story tellers. Afternoon nap and evening in DHS to see Osborne lights

Sat 12/8/12 - Epcot all day. Liners meet with Len Testa, Storytellers, Candlelight Processional with lunch package, Illuminations.

Sun 12/9/12 - MK area hotels, MK, MVMCP

Mon 12/10/12 - Change hotels, AK to see parade and decorations, DHS to see the lights, MK for evening EMH

Tues 12/11/12 - MK morning to see FLE, Epcot for a few more storytellers and then a plane home at 6 PM

Tues 12/11/12 - Be our Guest for lunch, no plans for dinner yet.

I'm coming tomorrow, and our itineraries for Sunday are almost identical! We are going to look at all the decorations at the MK hotels and then head to MVMCP too!!!! Have fun! I have to get a full day of work in before we leave tomorrow night, you're lucky you get to get there in the morning!

Yummy food choices!! Sanaa is AMAZING!!! Ask for a table by the window if you can. The animals walk right by

Via Napoli is also one of our favorites. Such yummy pizza!!

My mom owns a timehare with Starwood and they own the Dolphin and the Swan so we can use the points for either of those properties. We chose the Swan for our trip in May. I am curious for sure to see how you like the Dolphin since they are sister properties!!!

I'm really looking forward to reading your opinion of the Dolphin. It's no Beach Club but gotta love its location. I've stayed there for as little as one-third the price of the Beach Club so I've recommended it to a few people for that reason. Besides, it's the only place my kids (competitive swimmers) can do laps.
