HM Bride's Ring missing....

We were there in May this yr, and we looked, couldn't find it ,asked CM and were told it was being polished

Hm.. I'd have to think that the likelihood of a guest A) sneaking in a tool able to pry the ring from the 3 welds that are all that is left of the ring and B) actually prying the ring up while in line without being noticed by other guests or CMs is highly unlikely.

It makes more sense that there is a sticky fingered CM in the mix, but that's obviously just speculation.

Exactly. It's the same optical illusion as the busts in the library. It looks like something is covering it because of the impression in the concrete.

I was at the Haunted Mansion yesterday. Every time I'm in the queue I glance down at the ring on the floor before entering the mansion. To my surprise, the ring was gone. It looked like someone pried it out of the ground! Does anyone know what happened?

I heard it was taken by someone who was not pleased with the level of service at Disney and felt they were entitled to the ring.

Update, the ring is back. HOWEVER it is not the ring that they had in the queue before. This new ring is a mix between the old post ring and the new one. Which I like, it looks like a nicer version of the post ring. It's nice to see someone missed the look and feel of the old post.
