HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

It's super disappointing to see Frozen Ever After be cloned(to some degree) like this. The original was designed around the entire constraint of following Maelstrom's track. Starting from scratch, they really show redesign it for the frozen theme from the group up. I get saving engineering costs but it's really frustrating when something built from the ground up in 2019 is restricted by 30 year old attraction that's thousands of miles away.

It's the same insane logic that brought us Fast and Furious Supercharged and Reign of Kong. The Hollywood versions were hamstrung around being part of the tram tour. Rather than designing new experiences not for such large vehicles in florida, Universal built all new wireless tram size vehicles...at least the hollywood versions have a good excuse for being bad

Elsa’s palace and the Arendelle castle:

Wow, the Iron man experience ride now rendered with the updated castle and frozen land? So does that mean updated the video wasn’t that costly? We may see updates of the experience in the future? AND the future Avengers E-ticket!

Some better photos of Iron Man Experiences new video

The natural mountain backdrop in Hong Kong compliments the castle and other manmade buildings very well, but here it looks like it will absolutely dwarf the snowy peak housing Elsa's ice palace. The forced perspective here will be very tricky to pull off.

I noticed something interesting about the d23 model. This tower is based off of the older (slightly different) blueprint of the castle. The one being constructed is based off of the newer blueprint though.

edit: you can also see it from the back, how the d23 model uses the taller tower from the old blueprint vs. how the one being built uses the shorter tower from the new blueprint.

Seeing the Iron Man video helped me see that because you're going to have a lot of blue in Arendale (blue ice palace, teal lower palace) it makes sense to differentiate the park's central castle with peach, cream and gold.

The more I see of the castle (new renderings, model, etc) the more I like it. While I think it's a bit over-the-top, I think that's the entire point. It honestly makes me wish Tokyo's castle was more unique so that we had very different castles in every park around the world.

I’m hearing rumours that a Star Expo theme Restaurant is coming in the future. Will this be a reimagined project?

Is there is any chance that the hkdl “marvel attraction” may actually consist of 2 new buildings? One is the announced California’s e-ticket ride right next to Ironman experience’s reactor as shown in this recruitment poster:

The other one will be the avengers coaster or some sort?

I don’t think so. The building for the Avengers ride in DCA will be massive. About the size of the large building in HKDL art. Another argument would be that the Quinjet is also at the entrance of that huge building, so that would probably be the avengers e-ticket and no more.

Maybe that building you are mentioning next to iron man experience is gonna be the meet&greets.

Ya I agree having 2 new E-ticket is just not possible. As there is already a M&G behind the Expo store, that area left of the iron man exp entrance maybe a Stark Expo themed snack shop selling Tony’s favourite burger, Sponsored by Burger “Queen”.
