HKDL- Center Street Shop? Expansion

Is HKDL taking a page out of WDW and adding more shopping space to Center Street? It looks like it and the Hong Kong Main Street Gazette blog seems to suggest the same.

West Center Street, "Main Street", "Section 60-67 Lot project latest developments. Of a lot has been moved to the buildings appearance board, new construction, not demolition and redevelopment of the former Victorian glass canopy design, has also confirmed that this place is a new store, you can connect and then next to the "department store" and "Main Street candy shop. That looks like a four letter word starting with a 'S' that I can't write here ... it doesn't fit at all and looks like they just sorta pulled a MK and ate half of Center Street.

MK's Center Street on the West was removed for an expanded Emporium. At least MK's looks good(did I just say that... lol) in that it at least matches Main Street.

Disney and More has a better look at the new shop. It just looks awful, the stained glass in back is nice.

The stained class is really pretty but the execution of the building is all wrong. Like wii said, it's VERY out of place. What a shame.

What a huge misstep. Much of the good feeling generated by the sterling execution of Grizzly Gulch has been negated by seeing this incongruous eyesore appear in HKDL's otherwise charming Main Street.

Even worse, it appears that this addition is a permanent one...
