Okay, I'll throw another in.

How tall is the tree of life?

And to add onto that one: How many animal carvings are there on the tree of life?

Eh... havent read info on the Tree recently but I believe it is about 158 ft tall and though advertised as having 350 carvings, in reality it only has about 270. (Gotta love Disney exagerations).

Soem info from the Disney archives...

The SE "icon" with the wand is now 217ft tall from the base of the structure at ground level to the tip of the twinkling stars. The tallest letters in the word "Epcot" are 36ft tall themselves.

Pre-icon: SE itself is 180ft tall, 18 stories.

Over at MGM:
ToT is 199ft tall.

In MK:

Cinderella Castle is 189ft, (compared to Sleeping beauty's mere 67 feet.)

About big thunder, according to the archives:

"---The height of genuine mountains is actually calculated by measuring the height from sea level, which is how the 197 feet, 6 inches measurement was obtained for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
---When a ground level measurement is used, the height of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's Main Butte becomes approximately 100 ft. above ground level. "

Other interesting stuff:

The highest point on the SE ride is 163 feet above ground level.

You know going through archives and posting what it says in there kinda defeats the purpose of a trivia thread........

I was going through and confirming answers since all of you were merely guessing... Most of the info i gave was just a confirmation.

Right, new question - Which attraction contains water cannons which would be capable of firing a basketball over the top of the empire state building?

(This is the stronger bit!)

Is it the water tank on the backstage pass tour? The one with the scorched model ships.
