No I’m for all of that I just meant why didn’t brightline have their station closer to Disney in the first place. When someone flys from out of town to Orlando they generally go to Disney or Universal, then they could hop on the train down to south Florida and vice versa. Now they would have to go back to the airport. Don’t see the purpose of having an Orlando airport stop is all I’m saying, but I’m definitely for reducing traffic congestion and having transport options.

It will make more sense once it all connects together. This is a system being designed for the future more than the present day problems.

What are the details of the Multimodal ? I see the construction every time I go to the MCO airport and am curious about the project. Last time I flew out was 11/11/18 and I counted about 18 crane booms in the air.
The multimodal station is currently waiting for something to serve. The construction has now shifted to the South Terminal Complex

Because Virgin can’t compel Disney to provide a station and transportation. The City was already building a terminal facility at the airport and there is already a well established network of transportation to the airport. A new terminal facility closer to Disney would have still required people to get to it.

I can try to find info on the timeline but like I said before I don’t believe it’s priority for the OIA project at least. Since terminal C is sortve having some slowdown

I just read they want the rail terminal to open at the same time as the new south terminal which makes perfect sense.

They could have a connection to Sun Rail done by then also I suspect it they privatized it that segment. Same with the maglev.

Hopefully with Virgin buying in it’ll go even faster. Not sure why they r stopping at Orlando airport but oh well, won’t have to drive from Fort Lauderdale anymore.
Virgin is always quick to sacrifice cash on projects like this...

Here are the details surrounding the entire South Terminal project master plan:

(At least from July 2016, not sure if things have changed since, but slides 13 - 16 talk about the Intermodal stuff)

Where did you hear that gas prices were going to drop again?

It takes about a month for a decrease in the barrel price to be reflected at the pump. So we haven't seen the full effect of the drop in oil prices.

Of course events can change everything but right now under $2 should be pretty common. Also depends on state taxes and other factors. IE Cali. But it is looking good for the consumer right now.

Found 1.88 in OKC. It is still dropping. Geography and taxes are the biggest factors. After supply and demand of course.
Well, it's still $2.65 per gal. here in NC. I think the difference is in the tax charged. It had been close to $4.00 per gal at one point but I don't think it has ever be below 1.95 for quite a few years.

You must live in the hills. You might see 2.25 by Christmas. A cold winter will keep prices higher also.
