Yes, but you live Real Tallahassee, not Make Believe Tallahassee.Funny, I just happen to live in Tallahassee. I don't remember reading about an alleged meeting. Which would have been BIG news, especially during Legislative Session.
Indeed. If someone just takes everything ever discussed and claim it applies today, then if ANY of them become real 20 years down the road, that someone can claim they were right all along and their track record is amazing.Have you heard about that Venetian resort they’re building? I saw a drawing of it, so it must be current.

No, no, JT said it’s an option in the table. He’s a solid source of information.
Stop bringing facts into this.It was cancelled in 2011. And that's AFTER we Floridians first voted for a bullet train between Tampa and Orlando in 2000 and then unvoted it in 2004.
Some of us live in this state and kinda know stuff.
@jt04 Got to hand it to you. Single handedly trashing and derailing a thread with such speed.

There was just a big meeting in Tallahassee. That is the capital of Florida. Google the story.
Close is subjective. It's close for a bus or light rail or even a skyway.

Here’s the link. I mean, sure it’s from 2011, just like that rendering, but what’s a decade between friends?

Nearest thing I can find is a week old article about a Brightline board meeting about a potential $1 billion change to include I-Drive. And service wouldn’t begin on the line until 2026, according to WFTV.
“If all goes according to plan, service on the Orlando to Tampa leg- including SunRail to the airport- would begin in late 2026.”

Brightline is privately funded. We Floridians really messed up when we overturned the constitutional amendment in 2004. Imagine how that bullet train would have kicked off high speed rail throughout the state.
They still have to abide by regulations.May I remind you Brightline is privately funded and operated?
