Why bring On The Record?!?!?! It failed as a show and ticket sales, or lack there of, was proof. No reason at all that needs to be brought to WDW.
I think that On The Record, which is all-inclusive music wise, would fit nicely in the theatre because it is based on the idea of recording a CD. Directly across from it is Rockin' Rollercoaster, a recording studio itself.
Of any of the Disney On Broadway venues, On The Record would be the best choice. Also, Beauty and the Beast is an aging entity, 16 years old, and with the recent announcement of the closing on Broadway, I could see them closing the WDW "Live" attraction as well. I used to enjoy the show, but of recent the oversized animated character costumes seem strange as costuming has really changed in the last ten years. Update the theatre to be indoors, theme it as another recording studio, and put in On The Record. It seems as simple as putting High School Musical at MGM.
I think On the Record failed because it has no plot, but would work splendidly in the Studios because it could easily be made into a shorter show that families could go to and not have to worry about the story. Plus, it refreshes a park which always needs "plusing" especially since its once focused theming has diverted.
Just some thoughts on that subject, but to stay on subject, I am glad HSM is in the Studios and finally gets the same respect as CA.
