Ok. So yesterday I was in the World of Disney at Downtown Disney looking for one of those Disney Santa hats. Well I was in the area that has the big TV and I started hearing We are all in this Together song. I look up and I see that it is a advertisement for the movie. Then later that night I called my girlfriend to be the first one to wish her a marry Christmas, and I told her about it and she had the tv on in her room and it happen to have the same advertisement on the tv. So in the summer of 2007 there will be another High School Musical.

In an interview with director Kenny Ortega in the new issue of Disney Adventures, he talked about the new High School Musical 2. He said:

It's definitely "school's out for the summer." I think we're going to open with the kids leaving school. We're seeing them a short while after we left them [in the first movie]. But the summer becomes ever-changing for them. We're going to see characters llike Ryan come into themselves more, and Sharpay really has to come to reckon with who she is. Relationships will be tested. It's going to be fun!

The interview was done during the London premiere of the first High School musical. :)

Actually, I don't think that you are voting for predictions. I think that you are voting for what you want to be on the movie. However, it is only minor stuff (What should his shirt say, what should it say on the board, etc.)

Oh, and also, you can vote for which Hannah Montana star you want to be in the movie. The choices are Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osnemt, and,well, I can't remember his name right now but he plays Jackson.

Oh, there is also a section at Jim Hill that gives the outline of the plot of the movie. It sounds like it will be great!

like OMG :rolleyes: ...it was actually a suprising film (the first) it was pretty good but doesn't deserve any hype. i guess i'll watch it but i won't follow all you peope down the road of random obsessions.

I read that High School Musical 2 will take place in the summer, in a country club owned by Ryan's and Sharpay's father. They said thought that the script could change at the time of printing. If it does take place in a country club, it doesn't seem very "high schooly." :lol: :)

Sidenote: The HSM concert is in Detroit tonight. My sister was begging for tickets, but alas, they sold out within the first few days. :eek:

There was just a little live bit on one of the news channels with two of the characters, and one of them briefly mentioned HSM 2.
