Hidden "Infrared" Light Figment

On June 1, I shot 6 complete videos of the ride.

On the last one, I shot in Sony "Nightshot" (infrared light) mode.

I found a figment that CAN'T be seen under normal light!! It appears to be a mistake that was painted over at the last minute.

It's at the part that when you are led into Figment's house.

Here are two pic's so you can see: ( I'm pretty proud to have noticed this on opening day!!)

They need to fix Fig's blue color in the CGI rendered fFigment.

it's a little blurry...could you perhaps get a better shot of it? It's a little dull too...brighten it up a bit ;)

Ha!! ...Yeah,...it caught me totally by surprise. I remember looking through the camera and seeing it....I went "huh?" and pulled away to look at it normally. I, of course, couldn't see it. It's weird to see something through a camera and NOT be able to see the same exact thing with your eyes!

Another thing I noticed: Disney put only one infrared camera in the ride. They placed it right on the "audience" in the finally scene. When looking at it through Sony "Nightshot", it looks like a very, VERY bright spotlight on your right hand side.

I think they are checking out the audience reactions to this scene. I'm sure that facial expressions will tell them how successful the new ride is! ( I'll bet Kodak execs would like to know )

Thats really cool that you were able to get that on film, and that you thought to film it in infrared..........kudos on that!!!!! :sohappy:

About the Sony NightShot...is it really worth it??? I'm curious because I'm in the market and was just wondering if it makes that much of a difference...I would really like your input :) Thanks a bunch!

I have nightshot on my camera...love it...you can film in complete darkness if you want (although everything gets a "green" glow). If you can get it, I would recommend it.

OK,...try to copy and paste the link into a new session of your web browser and go that way.

The theme jingle to the "Imagination Institute"

You also hear it in the backgroud of "Honey I Shrunk the Audience".
