Hey everyone. If you were president of Disney World for one day, what would you do?

I'd grant myself and family a lifetime free park passes and free lifetime any resort. Next I would put a drastic cap on daily attendence so there would be no need for fast passes and the heck with meeting stockholds demands for more money at the expense of guests. Cap all resort fees.

...and my second decree is that they add a second set of entry gates for AP's(sometimes it is 2 scanners, and sometimes it is 4, why not always make it 4 or 6?).. that line should never be longer than the regular gate lines..

I find it very interesting that with the AP gates that they currently use, a lot of the time the line is MUCH longer than the regular lines. I'm an AP, but why would I want to wait LONGER when I could just get in a short line and be in much faster?

That was my question... APs can use whatever line they want, right?

Have the Disney lawyers draft paperwork that would:
(1) give me and my family indefinite free access to all parks, cruises, and adventures by Disney, and indefinite free access to the Cinderella suite, or if not in disney world, concierge-level accommodations of my choosing; and
(2) give me and my family indefinite fast passes and best-reserved seating to all rides/entertainment.

I would also look at "the book of future projects" and make them listen to my opinions about them.

I would create a kiosk outside Le Cellier that sold the pretzel bread.

I would bring back the good cupcakes that used to be in Toontown to celebrate Mickey's birthday. ( I think the current cupcakes are sub-par)

Right, which makes the situation so funny!

just to clarify why AP's still use AP lines when they are longer.. I have seen longer AP lines go much quicker than regular lines, so often AP's jump into the line hoping the people in front of them know which finger/how to do it better than avg joe..

Sometimes it doesn't work out(new AP member or kids who don't remember their fingers hold up the 2 gates that are open).. but as long as the line isn't double the length of the regular entry I jump in AP line every time and it almost always works out for the better for me..

it still should never be longer than the regular entry..

Honestly this sounds cheesy but I would drop the ticket prices to very affordable prices, like $30 per person. For the entire year. Once max capacity is reached the doors are closed.
So many people today would love to go but can't afford to.

Yeah, but I've seen 30 people in an AP line while the neighboring tapstile is totally empty!

Release a number of paper FP's in the park for those who come day of and do not have any FP's associated with their ticket already..

#1 complaint from people who have never been and go while in Florida on a vacation I hear is.. "We didn't know you had to plan your whole day weeks or months in advance and get fast passes."

I get that is SOMETHING the Fast passes with tickets new idea helps fix.. but the majority of people who show up and buy single park tickets do not get to enjoy the FP+ options for things that take more than 30 minutes on normal operating days..

and my second decree is that they add a second set of entry gates for AP's(sometimes it is 2 scanners, and sometimes it is 4, why not always make it 4 or 6?).. that line should never be longer than the regular gate lines..

Maybe today was just a fluke day, but we were able to get a splash mountain fast pass last minute in place of our pirates fast pass since the wait for that was only 10 minutes. Then after we used all 3 of our passes for today we were able to get toy story mania for tonight while we are in Hollywood studios. There were other decent passes available and that was at 11:30-1:00 today. So people going day of could have gotten some nice ones.

I would assume that any decrees I issued for that day would be overturned since any initiative started could easily be undone. Thus, I would invite all my enemies to WDW for the day and ensure that a record number of "accidents" occurred on property resulting in fatalities once they were 6" outside of the magic.

I’d get the future world update budget doubled (we can afford it, Star Wars and marvel are making a mint), leaveragr partnerships to get sponsors back to Epcot, fast track a complete overhaul of the crumbling transportation. New boats, busses, monorails and an expansion of the monorail to cover all parks, and start the ball rolling for an expansion out to MCO.

Work with universal and sea world to form an independent partnership body which say $5 from all tickets goes into. This is then used to find projects that benefit tourism as a whole between the three parks, providing things like free shuttles between each others parks, joint IP advertising, etc

Close down Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon (one at a time) for a complete redevelopment, retheming typhoon lagoon around Moana, and introducing approx 10 new rides in each.

Green lighting at least 1 new attraction per year in each park for the next 5 years, including land expansions at MK, Epcot and HW
