Hess Station Re-Opened!

Exactly what I was thinking. Also, how long have those 2 cars from WoM been there? And where were they before? Looked at local.live.com and couldn't pick them out.

It's interesting.. because they look shiny enough to be kept up, but the way the one is on platforms suggests it wasn't "driven" there.

And I don't think they've been there very long... again, too shiny and new looking. Cars left outside in Florida don't stay shiny very long.

Great pictures!!! Where were you standing when you took the Pictures of ROE??? And were you the only one in Epcot that night???? It looks like it!!!

I was the only me out of the 50,000+ people in the park that night :)

My friend and I staked out our spot an hour early

I don't know if this has been said yet, but Disney has made two new Notices of Commencement (1 2) for the Pleasure Island Hess station and the Studios/Epcot Hess Station. Yay, more gas station pics to look forward too! :)

I've got a video of walking around the new HESS station, inside and out.
I know its a real niche, geeky item to video, but thanks a lot! Great quality too. MP4 could end up giving divx a run for its money!

If you ever venture near again, can you get some images of the other, larger building behind and to the right of this one? It may be where they have the body-shop style service bays. You may not see it from the ground, but the building is slightly diamond shaped, almost like Horizons was, but with a flat roof. This was the original Gulf Car Care Center, and had the same styling as the original T&TC. I`d be fascinated to see how it looks today.

Told you it was geeky! Thanks again.

You are welcome. When I was videotaping this, I was like -- um 2 people will appreciate it?

Anywho - I know which building you are referring too. I believe its the AAA car care center -- beside it/behind it is the storage for abandoned vehicles on Disney property (thanks MKT).

I will see if I'm allowed back there.

I tried to reaching you a few months back on (what must be) an old work email.

Haven't talked to you in a while.
