Anywho, I'm here in the world now! Got in around 930 last night and headed straight to MK! EMH were amazing this time of year! I've never been this late so forgive me if I'm saying something everyone else already knows (I'm used to late spring/summer trips including week before school starts!), but boy am I loving the crowd level! Atleast as far as last night went, I'm headed out right now for the day. I'm probably making a deadly mistake but I'm headed to EPCOT for the first part of my day. Excited to experience F&WF!
Last night weather was great! I'm from Tennessee so while some people were in shorts and a long sleeve tshirt or sweatshirt or even jeans, I was fine and just had a tank & shorts and had a ls tshirt handy. Walked in during second run of MSEP and made my way through Tomorrowland and walked a bit before settling on riding Splash. It was walk-on. Then I headed to Big Thunder. Said a 20 minute wait, it was 6! Small World was also walk on! It's been closed everytime I've been the past few times so I rode it for the first time in 11 years! Headed to grab food since I'd not eaten all day (had to work but I left early to catch my flight so no break!) and them ventured through fantasyland.
Was trying to take a picture off a not steady trashcan of the toontown entrance while it was decorated & the NICEST castmember came up and said "here! I've been watching you struggling!" and opened the rope and let me walk as close as I wanted to take pictures! He talked to me for a few minutes and then I headed on to space. Said it was a 30 minute wait, but I was in line and off the ride in 20!
Hoping it's like this (I know it was EMH but hoping it's a sign of how it will be, I'm used to waiting 45 minutes for EMH!) the whole time! I'm here til the 27th! If anyone is here, say hi! I'm short (about 5'2") and have long dark brown hair with blonde, purple, & green lol.
This is my first solo trip and while I was nervous - so far ITs FrEaKInG AWESOmE! If anyone has any tips or advice send em my way! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
