Tammy in all my years of Disney I have never had a Mickey Bar.

This is what I should've posted the first time:

It is my understanding that is exactly why they charge for them.

You KNOW that if they were free, there would be people doing that. There would be "itp board" where the DCL cost saving tip of the day is that you can bring an empty suitcase and fill it with candy and snacks and take it home.

I second this. I highly recommend Tammy at Kingdom Konsultants. We are doing our first Disney Cruise in May and we used her by recommendation of people here on the forum (I believe she is under "Disneyfalcon" on here - just search about any Cruise Line thread or you can PM me and I'll give you her contact info). She has been great and answers every question, no matter how stupid, with no issues. I don't know how we would've gotten it booked so easily without her.

Tammy helped us too! We are going on our first cruise next week! She has been so helpful!

Maybe I should be embarrassed as well, never having had a Mickey bar on my cruise. Something to look forward to for our future cruises.
I have had Mickey bars in my lifetime :) But there are so many other really good desert/treat options, I almost never get a Mickey bar on the cruise, to be honest. And in the parks, I like the Minnie strawberry bar better.

Thank you for the clarification on what is charged for. I am a big chip eater so this would be an item I would bring with me. Besides RS being 24 hours is there other food option late at night?

Thank you for suggesting KK I have booked with a disney specialist. But I know all the experienced people on the boards can also have great advice. and getting multiple opinions on thing gives you a better idea of what to expect.

There are a couple snack stations set up around the ship that have beverages, baked gods etc, but I am not positive if the are up 24 hours. This link will help you with menus aboard the dream.

Ok so I am checking out the menu's on the dream from the link Master yoda gave me. Why are the adult meals so gourmet "ish" I and a basic eater. Are all dinners a sit down served meal is there a buffet sytle option too. I know the Cafe has burger and pizza and stuff...this maybe were I am eating all week.

The adult meas are "gourmetish" because that is what most adults expect from dining on a cruise. They will however customize the dishes to your liking. Adults can even order off the kids menu and vice versa. My, at the time, 9 year old daughter ordered from the adult menu for a good portion of the cruise.

Your dinners are sit down meals.

another follow up question when ordering RS if I wanted the cheesecake that I know is on a menu in a restuarant will they do that. not impressed with the RS dessert offerings. I am a late night snack eater especially on vacation. DH will eat the duck and the wild boar I on the other hand would not so far the NY strip steak has been only entree that sounds like I would eat it and not waste a plate of food wish I was more of a foodie

I do not think so, but it will vary based on the level of room you are staying at. I know that some of the high end suites can get room service from Palo.

My dad almost always used to prefer the soup on the kids menu to the soups on the adult menu. My daughter, on the other hand, has been ordering her entrees from the adult menu since she was about 7.
