Help with parents anniversary plans

My DH and I have booked to go to WDW next year with my parents and 18 year old brother. We will be there shortly after both parents birthdays and for their wedding anniversary. It's only the second time that my dad had been and the third that my mum and bro have been (although they don't really remember the 1st time!).

Anyway, as my parents have helped me and DH out so much this year, I really want to make the trip extra special, especially with it being their anniversary. We all prefer MK to the other parks and my dad is a train nut so I'm booking the train tour for his birthday.

We have never eaten at any of the restaurants on site, we usually just go to one of the self service places and grab a quick bite. Is there anywhere in particular that you would recommend, bearing in mind that there will be a couple of picky eaters, and is there anything I can do to make the visit that little bit more special for my parents?

Oh, and we won't be staying on property this time.:(

Many thanks in advance of any help you can give!

First of all if you are going to make any ADRs with Disney tell them that it will be your parents anniversary. They can note it on the reservations. DH did this last year and we were greeted with nice little surprises at several table services. Since they are picky eaters I would suggest a buffet like Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. Both did nice little surprises for us. :) (anniversary)
Also make sure that you get them Anniversary buttons at Guest Relations when you get to the park.
The Beauty & the Beast show at DHS gave us VIP seating for our anniversary (because of the buttons) and we were brought up front and sang to and also given a free CD Return 2 Zero. It was very fun, even if I did get stage fright standing in front of all those people.:ROFLOL:
Disney is really good with things like this if you let them know.
Hope you all have a great trip & congrats to your parents.
