Would love to hear y'all's suggestions as to how to tackle the Magic Kingdom's most popular rides when the park first opens please.

Is there an order in which we should do the most popular attractions throughout the park , keeping in mind we've yet to experience the New Fantasyland Expansion, and would like to be able to use FPs as well..

Thank you.

Last trip we hit MK for 3 rope drops! The first day we hit The FLE starting with Enchanted tales with Belle. The second day we did all 3 mountains by 10 am. These were 9am openings. How you tackle things depends on what you want to do most I wanted to see the FLE and my boys like the mountains. If you want to do everything I'd follow touring plans. I hope this helps.

We have done this plan multiple times over the last few years and it works great (in our opinion). As soon as rope drop occurs, we do the following:

1. Head straight to Fantasyland and New Fantasyland, typically in this order: Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales w/Belle, Little Mermaid, the Great Goofini, Dumbo, Character Tent, Tea cups and finally It's a Small World. This can all be done in an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours Don't forget to utilize a Fast Pass somewhere in there, we usually do for Peter Pan..

2. Breathe and then head into Frontierland and grab fast passes for either Big Thunder Mountain or Splash and then head back to Haunted Mansion. After Haunted Mansion you could do Hall of Presidents or head over to Country Bear Jamboree, if its time, use fast passes, if not head to the other "Mountain." By now your passes should be ready so use them. Time for a Mickey Bar!

3. Now head into Adventureland, grab fast passes for the Jungle Cruise and ride Pirates, then watch Jose and his friends in the Tiki Room. Take a walk over to the Swiss Family tree house and then grab a ride with Aladdin. By this point your fast passes should be ready for the Jungle Cruise. After all of this hard work you deserve a Dole Whip and/or lunch.

4. Guess what, you finished half the park by lunch time. At this point you could go back to your resort and grab a nap or head straight into Tomorrowland. Either way its your call. The beauty of this plan is you have all the time in the world after lunch to either go back and rides some things a second time or take a breather. Tomorrowland is easy at this point.

I hope this gave you some ideas. Obviously there are some variations to this plan and their are some character meet and greets that I didn't mention but you can fill those in as you wish.

Remember, this plan only works at Rope Drop. I would not attempt this if you are walking into the park later in the morning. By mid morning, the lines are longer and this wouldn't be an efficient plan.

I agree with above and feel that it's great to take advantage of a lighter opening crowd in Fantasyland. There's just so much to get done in there!! My husband will sometimes run off for FPs for one of the mountains so that we hit some of FL before heading to our FP time.

What do you consider to be your must do attractions? The two waits that currently build the fastest tend to be Merida, and ETWB. If you can push ETWB off til late night, the lines might drop back down to reasonable. Outside of that, you can play it like you would have in the past mostly.

We normally go left to right around the park. However, if you have any interest in seeing Belle in her new experience, run, don't walk, RUN there first. When we were there in Feb, we got there a bit after rope drop and stopped to see True Love mickey and minnie first, went to Little Mermaid first and then Belle. And there was always a long line of over 45 mins or longer. This is not a fast pass event. So if you want to do it and see here, then go there first.

At rope drop, head straight to Splash, get FPs for it, then ride it Stand-By. Then, ride BTMRR twice on Stand-By and use the Splash FPs. From there, head to Fantasyland and get FPs for your Fantasyland ride of choice. Spend the rest of the morning in Fantasyland. Get FPs for Space Mountain later in the day and spend your evening in Tomorrowland.
