We have done this plan multiple times over the last few years and it works great (in our opinion). As soon as rope drop occurs, we do the following:
1. Head straight to Fantasyland and New Fantasyland, typically in this order: Winnie the Pooh, Enchanted Tales w/Belle, Little Mermaid, the Great Goofini, Dumbo, Character Tent, Tea cups and finally It's a Small World. This can all be done in an hour and 1/2 to 2 hours Don't forget to utilize a Fast Pass somewhere in there, we usually do for Peter Pan..
2. Breathe and then head into Frontierland and grab fast passes for either Big Thunder Mountain or Splash and then head back to Haunted Mansion. After Haunted Mansion you could do Hall of Presidents or head over to Country Bear Jamboree, if its time, use fast passes, if not head to the other "Mountain." By now your passes should be ready so use them. Time for a Mickey Bar!
3. Now head into Adventureland, grab fast passes for the Jungle Cruise and ride Pirates, then watch Jose and his friends in the Tiki Room. Take a walk over to the Swiss Family tree house and then grab a ride with Aladdin. By this point your fast passes should be ready for the Jungle Cruise. After all of this hard work you deserve a Dole Whip and/or lunch.
4. Guess what, you finished half the park by lunch time. At this point you could go back to your resort and grab a nap or head straight into Tomorrowland. Either way its your call. The beauty of this plan is you have all the time in the world after lunch to either go back and rides some things a second time or take a breather. Tomorrowland is easy at this point.
I hope this gave you some ideas. Obviously there are some variations to this plan and their are some character meet and greets that I didn't mention but you can fill those in as you wish.
Remember, this plan only works at Rope Drop. I would not attempt this if you are walking into the park later in the morning. By mid morning, the lines are longer and this wouldn't be an efficient plan.
