Help with list of rides

One of my mom's former students' family is going to Orlando with Make a Wish. My mom wants me to make a list of top 10 things to do (keeping in mind that he can't do anything jerky). I know he'd love TSMM but I know its spinny but not sure if they can change that for the wheelchair cars. What should I include on my list?

4. Jungle Cruise
5. Pirates? I don't know if their boats are handicap accessible
6. Figment
I'll try to come up with 4 more later...

Mine would be:

1. Soarin'
2. Mickey's Philharmagic
3. Haunted Mansion
4. Pirate's of the Carribean
5. Buzz Lightyear (you can control how much it turns)
6. Kilamanjaro(?) Safari at AK
7. Not a ride but the Festival of the Lion King at AK
8. Turtle Talk is cute as well as Nemo (though not favorites).

I guess other good questions are what's the make up of your mom's former students' family; how old is he; and what are his interests. These might help target what the list should be.

You mention TSMM, but things to do might include shows, parades, character meets and fireworks. I wouldn't miss Illuminations.

I like the list except the Kilimanjaro Safari's. Way way too jerky if thats what your not looking for

And it is very jerky.
"Jerky" is really the wrong adjective. It's VERY smooth. It's just that it turns swiftly and spins quickly and sometimes suddenly. I would say that you often need to "brace" yourself so you don't slide around but that's different than "jerky" which implies that it's rigid and sharp on it's corners and it's not. I do believe there is a wheelchair car for it as well since one time I was in line for it, I did see a delay while they brought out what looked like a car without normal seats, and instead an open floor for a chair.

Yea I was just thinking that. He's in middle school (Don't remember what year exactly). I know he loved Suite live with Zach and Cody so maybe HSM3 show would be good?

I was thinking that too.

TSM is very jerky & spinny. I would avoid that one.

Any of the shows would be good to see, since they all pretty good without actually being a ride (American Idol Experience, Beauty & The Beast, Flights of Wonder, The 3-D shows). Soarin is amazing too, like others have said. The Fantasyland rides like Peter Pan, Winnie The Pooh, It's a Small World, and Cinderella Carousel all would be safe. The Jungle Cruise is a classic, and isn't jerky at all. I'm not sure what parks you are going to - but every park has plenty of rides that would work perfectly.

At the beginning of the rides, look for signs that say whether or not the ride spins or can cause motion sickness and avoid any of those.

If they spend the day at the Magic Kingdom then almost everything there is pretty easy except for a few things (Space, Splash, Thunder, Speedway, Barnstormer). Other than a few exceptions they can probably enjoy that entire park. I would think everything in Epcot except M:S and TT would be good as well, but it might not appeal to a middle schooler as much. I would suggest staying away from the Studios and AK for them since the rides there are definitely rougher and they would be more limited.
