Help With Horizons Question

I have read that when Horizons was closed it was re-opened at one point for media memebers to ride it. Who exactly were those media members, why did they ride it, and if anyone on here was part of that or knows about it, what kind of shape was the ride in when they rode through.

Oh yeah... one more thing... when the ride was closed, was the building empty most of the time or was routine maintenance required everyday?

I`m not sure about the Media ride thru, but I do know an after hours CM walk through was planned, but cancelled at the last minute. The ride officially closed in 1994, but reopened December 1995 and due to the mess in Futureworld East ran most of the time until January 1999, when it stayed closed until demolition.
