This is my first post-- though I've been reading for a while... I think you all are the best prepared fans I know to help me with this question.
I teach a class at Xavier U on history of the English language. We've been talking about new words entering the language, and today I explained a group of words we call "blends"--like smog (from smoke+fog) and brunch (a combo of breakfast and lunch).
I explained to the class that my trips to WDW each year always add several new words to my vocabulary--many from this "blend" category. They come from the attractions ("Philharmagic"), shows ("Cinderellabration), and WDI (the "smellitzer").
I could give them only a few examples off the top of my head, but I was sure my fellow die-hard fans could come up with a longer list. Can you help add to this list I want to pass out to the students? Some I've tracked down on maps and brochures, but some (like imagineering terms or long-past parades) come only from being an insider. Thanks!
