I need some help please...

1. When did EPCOT 100% stop using the pavilion logos throughout the park?

2. What happened to 'Backstage Magic' after it closed and what is there now?

3. When did the EPCOT poll close and what is there now?

I can not answer question 2 or 3. As I have no clue about them. But as far as the logos. They are still in some of the rides. Energy has the logo in tile as you walk into the preshow. Spaceship Earth still has signs with the logo on it at the entrance. The Horizons logo is inside Mission Space. I am not sure but I am willing to bet that the World Of Motion logo is somewhere inside Test Track. The Land logo is still on the costumes and the fastpass machines for Living with the Land. The living Seas logo is still visable all over the pavilion from the touch screens to some of the info displays. I am not sure about Journey. And the comunicore logo is still on the carpet in the old communicore wing by Club Cool. The EPCOT Center logo is cement on the ground just past the Future Fountain. So the logos have not gone away completly. I for one am glad they are still around. :sohappy:

it was when they started updating Epcot that the classic atmosphere (including the logos) became less prominent, so mid-90s. As was said, you can still find them but they became less and less prominent as they started refurbishing all of Future World.

1. The only place I have seen the World of Motion logo was on a Test Track leather jacket as the logo for “Future World Motors.” The Journey Into Imagination logo can be seen in the background of the Figment's Place sign. All of the other logos are where EPCOTrob said they are with the exception of The Living Seas logo not being as widespread since the Nemo rehab. Also, the primary EPCOT five-ring logo is in many places.

2. The Guest areas of Backstage Magic are taken up by part of Guest Relations and the Fantastic Plastics Works (and some of it's backstage now, ironically enough). EPCOT Computer Central is actually still there, just on the other side of the Plastics games back wall. It's still used for controlling some things throughout the park, and even the large EPCOT model, TV screens, and windows are still there.

3. The EPCOT Poll (Electronic Forum) closed March 16th, 1991, and was replaced the next day by the World News Center. Today, that area is occupied by the kids section of MouseGear.

I know those are still around, but I meant around what year did the overall use of them disappear.

Probably 1994, that's when Innoventions came along as the first major change of a pavilion, and they certainly didn't make any effort to use CommuniCore's logo, or develop a new one. That is the year that I generally consider to be the death of EPCOT Center overall.

I`d suggest the last prominent logo went when Centorium closed (it had them all on its sign) finally in August 1999 - though albeit in a temporary home in the adjacent east corridor. They were also still used on the original Futureworld rehab of `94 directional signs and existed for quite a while on them.
