Hello all!
My name is Danielle, and I have a huge favor to ask my fellow Disney fans. Anyone got any vacation time next week? Oh boy, here goes...
I know a lot of you are married with kids and none of you really know me...but I have a huge huge favor to ask... Maybe someone can go
This is so weird of me to ask since I haven't made any personal friendships on the boards yet, but I was wondering if ANYONE, cast member or just regular Disney nut would like to go to the park with me next week.
I am 23, single, and a really awesome/fun person. I love children and am very people friendly. I want to work at Disney one day! I will be more than willing to contact and or talk to anyone who would be interested in meeting up at one of the parks for lunch or to do a few rides together or something. I just really need some company. I'm honestly scared to death to go alone. This will be my first solo trip, but I'd rather go alone than cancel my reservations.
I have a standard room at the Pop Century resort so I'll be riding via Disney transportation to all the parks while I'm there. I had a pre-planned vacation with my best friend but his boss decided to be a jerk and told him he couldn't take it any more...so here I am stuck with tickets and no one to attend the park with. I have park hopper option so I can go to any park. My original plan was actually to go to Animal Kingdom on Wednesday, May 20 and then try out Typhoon Lagoon for the first time on May 21. I'd rather not go alone,
especially to the water park. I was going to pay a little extra to rent lockers, go snorkle with sharks, have a few bahama mama's or margaritas and relax in the lazy river.
I was going to Star Wars Weekend on May 22, also not wanting to go alone. I'd be willing to meet up with anyone who just wants to hang out and meet a fellow fan. I really was going to cancel, but I'd rather just go than waste all that time and money. I am kind of afraid of the crowds on opening day of Star Wars Weekend, if it's too crowded I'll be going to another park. Perhaps Epcot or Magic Kingdom.
