Help, please: What's the phone number to call to see if a bounceback is available?

We're at WDW next week, and sometimes things have been hit or miss when it comes to getting flyers or emails offering bouncebacks. I think there was an extension like 8448 or some 407 area code number that you could call while on vacation to see if there was a bounceback offer available. If anyone has it, I'd really appreciate it if they could list it here so I could call while staying on property next week. Thanks!

At your service, Durangojim....
The number that was listed in the email bounceback offer I received last March is 407-939-7907.
Good luck! I hope they have some good offers available when you go next week!

Thank you both, I don't think I've explained myself. I've used bounceback offers many times in the past and I realize that you have to be checked in and currently staying at Disney resort to take advantage of it. However on the flyer there are two phone numbers provided. One is an in house extension that is x8844 that will connect you to the current bounceback offer center, the other is a 407 area code number which you can call if you are outside of the resort but still within the time frame our your reservations (such as using your cell phone).

Sometimes housekeeping does not leave the flyers or is not aware of the bounceback, but there are in fact offers available. This happened to us the last time we stayed at the WL. Nothing was left in our room, and I enquired and was told there were no offers, however after checking my email while staying at the park, Disney had sent me a bounceback offer and there were the two phone numbers. If I hadn't received the email, I would never have known about the offers. We're going to be at WDW next week and I wanted to make sure I could find out if there were any bouncebacks available. Now that I have the extension number I'll be calling that regardless if there is a flyer or not in my room.

No problem.
I get the impression that Disney is moving to email bounceback offers over the flyers left in the resort rooms.
On our 3 trips (5 resorts) in 2010, we have received bounceback emails each time, and I think only one or maybe two of the resort rooms have had bounceback flyers in them.... so don't forget to check your email while you're there.

Stupid question, but what exactly is a bounceback? I thought it meant one thing, but this thread is making me believe otherwise.

It's a special offer provided to everyone who is staying in a Disney resort. You can only book it during your stay. They are typically very good deals, there to entice you to re-up the magic while you're still in the Disney mood. They only take a $200 deposit to secure the reservation.

Our upcoming trip in November was a bounceback. We booked from French Quarter in January and got 45% off of our room at Boardwalk Villas. It was too good to pass up.

The deal changes from time to time, so I can't tell you what it might be when you're there next, but it's definitely worth checking into.

It's an offer given only to people who are currently staying in a Disney owned resort that has to be booked while the person is staying in that resort. It is usually for a % off a room or free dining and usually well in advance of any general or AP discounts and is usually pretty competative.

since I'm already in the thread, I'll go ahead and respond to you, Master Gracey...
a bounceback is a discounted reservation that you can only make during your Disney vacation while staying on property.
You may get a flyer in your resort room, or an email sent to you during your trip, that says ... "book your next vacation before you check out and save 30% on your resort room".... or something to that effect. There are usually certain dates that are available for the offer, with other dates blocked out.
My experience has been that the discounts are similar to AP discounts, or even some general public discounts, but they are for dates further in the future than most AP and GP discounts, so you can plan a little earlier. For instance, while on our March trip, we booked a bounceback trip for Sept. at 45% off a DVC villa. I don't think the regular discounts for Sept. came out until early this summer, so it was just a chance to book a trip and have a wider selection of rooms/resorts to choose from.
Hope that helps.

EDIT: oh wow, we're all here at once! hahaha.

Thanks:).....I'm counting on a bounceback offer when we're there this November. I've printed the # to bring along just in case I don't receive an offer in my room.

We're kind of hoping for the same. We like to go the same time every year, so it would be great if we could get the same discount and book for November of 2011. I'm not interested in free dining, though, so we're holding out for discounted room rates!

Thanks all for the clarification on bouncebacks - I wouldn't mind seeing offers like that on our next trip this January. I'll have to take a look and see whats available!

Two years ago while staying at POFQ in August my sister and her husband had an offer in their room ( round clock shaped card) but we did not. I assumed we didn't get an offer not knowing it was open to all who were staying on property. I was about to inquire at the front desk when I saw a number of the cards on a Mousekeeper's cart. She happily handed me one and we were able to take advantage of the offer. My point is as others have stated, they were not keyed to specific rooms. Not all resorts are available depending on prior bookings. We wanted to return to POFQ but only Carribbean Beach was available by the time we called.

Dont forget, there are some pretty good deals with the Free Dining offer through select time frames in 2011 out now that you can book WITHOUT a bounceback offer, they are open to the General Public. Simply contact your favorite Travel Agent or call Disney directly to book through them. Have a great day all!!! Marie

The bounceback offer is also on the resort tv station. Currently it's like 40% off deluxe resorts through 2010. There is no bounce back offer for 2011 currently available. Also note we were there in july and will return in September, the bounce back offer was the same as what was currently available to all guests who booked the special room codes on the disney site.
