Help Please! Search delete?

Hey... I need some help from anyone with some knowledge of computers. Whenever I go to a search engine and start to type what I want to search for, a list appears underneath the space where you type your search. It lists everything I've ever searched for. Is there anyway to turn off or delete this? It gets really annoying and I don't really want everyone who uses my computer to know every little thing I've ever searched for! Thanks all! Hope yeh can help...

LOL what are you trying to hide?

Just put the cursor in the search box and click then press the down arrow and hit delete to delete each search word.

Go to "Tools"
Go to "Internet Options"
Select the "content" tab
click on "AutoComplete"
and change your settings

Maybe she does. I think Sheryl did a remake maybe? All I know is that I searched for it on KaZaA and it came up as her. There were a few for Osbourne, but the version I DLd is Sheryl Crow... (According to the display in my Winamp player...)

Actualy... I searched for lyrics and its listed as Sheryl Crow too...

You could have also just deleted yer internet cache and cookies..which is always a good idea...

Open IE. Then click on tools at the top. Then click on Internet Options. You will then find the area to delete all cookies, temp. files, and view sites.

You can also change your IE homp page there.
