Help! My husband doesn't like EPCOT

I need your help....Every year we go to Epcot and my husband leaves not won over :( it makes me sad because it is such a wonderful park.
Granted it is August when we visit and we are pushing a double stroller... But we always enjoy food and drink in Mexico, France and England. He is a vegetarian and there are a lot of wonderful options.
We have experienced most of the attractions (Soarin, the land, test track, space ship earth, mission space)
What am I missing? What would you do?

rsoxguy,
As logical as your post may be, you are failing to think like a true WDW fan. You see, it is perfectly fine for people to have different opinions on certain things...food, sports, music, beliefs, etc etc. That is what makes us human; what makes us unique. I also totally agree with marriage being a team effort of give & take. But when it comes to Disney, you either love it, or there is something wrong with you. The OP's husband clearly is doing something wrong causing him to dislike what he is required to like. After all, I enjoy Epcot, the OP enjoys Epcot, you probably enjoy Epcot, so in theory the OP's husband is supposed to enjoy Epcot. Checkmate!
Something has got to be done to change the husband's way of thinking, hence the reason this thread was started in the first place. What if he eventually snaps one day & starts suggesting they vacation to destinations outside of Disney property altogether? Then what? It is better to resolve a problem when it is small, and before things get totally outta hand.

To the OP: You are with friends here, and are in our thoughts & prayers. Hopefully you can get through this and solve the problem with great haste.

or maybe go somewhere that he likes next year? ...just a thought....

My suggestion for Epcot is to make it a 2 day park. Do Future World one day and then do World Showcase another day. That way you aren't walking close to 4 miles in the heat with a stroller and you can fully enjoy everything the park has to offer. Another thing would be maybe to have a sit down lunch in World Showcase. I know my family usually tends to just snack around the world for lunch and personally, I get pretty miserable by the time we reach the third or fourth pavilion just because I'm so hungry.

Good advice thank you!!! We will definitely sit down and enjoy a meal. I like the idea of saving world showcase for another day or maybe at night when it is cooler!!!

I skip the park hopper and ger the water park option ,we go to water parks during the day, nap and go to theme parks at night, when its cooler.
I'm in the same boat. My husband has no love for Epcot with our kids. It's a great place for people sans children, but it's too much walking and "boring" stuff for our two little ones. We are still going to go on our next trip, but we scheduled it for the day that we are switching resorts so we are going to hit up the thrill rides in the morning, take a nice long break in the middle of the day to check in to our new resort, go swimming etc, and then head back to have dinner and travel the world before catching the fireworks show. This way we're not there during the hottest time of the day and the kids won't be completely worn out. (I also plan on liquoring my husband up to make him more agreeable to it lol).
