HELP! Missing/Stolen Laptop Yacht Club Bell Services

I was just down there 10/10-10/15 staying at the Yacht Club. We checked in early on Sunday and went to Hollywood Studios since our room wasn't ready. I left 7 pieces of luggage with Bell Services one of which was my laptop bag. We came back around 10:30 PM and when Bell Services delivered my bags...I never got my laptop bag. I am hoping it got misdelivered to another room and someone doesn't realize it yet. It has all my personal/work info and everything I've saved over the last 10 years. This is insane that Yacht Club has lost/misplaced/stolen my bag. I filed a case with Disney Claims and made a police report to Orange County Police. I don't know what to do!!! I don't know how my bag could've gotten stolen when it was 20 feet from the Yacht Club baggage lockup when we left for the park and I know it didn't make it on Magical Express as there is a separate area for that. Either a Cast Member had the guts to steal it or Bell Services somehow delivered it to the wrong room and that guest doesn't realize it.

I paid $234 for a 16 GB USB IronKey, but I feel like it is worth it. I just got my bag back today with everything in it...Thank God! Already cleaned up and locked my files on the Ironkey and installed LoJack on the laptop.

I would stay on top on Disney with complaints about how they mishandled this situation. Stay on top of them just so this does not happen again to someone else.

Definitely a miracle!! Well the Yacht Club had someone pick it up from Mears and they overnighted it...so I should have it tomorrow. I already check my credit reports like a maniac every 4 weeks. I also have Lifelock Command Center. I bought a USB IronKey from ironkey.com. I am going to transfer all my personal files from my laptop to this USB key. I also bought LoJack for Laptops Premium from Dell. I am so glad to get all this back, BUT my entire vacation was ruined from this and I feel like Disney did nothing to provide "guest service recovery." Why didn't Disney call Magical Express to check??? Where is the due diligence? I had to personally call over there to check. That definitely is frustrating.

I would write a letter to Disney and calmly explain the situation and how you think their response went. You might get nothing from it except a phone call, but you may make the difference for someone else in the future as well.
