Hate to be the other voice, but I also have a fear of heights. Huge Coaster junkie, but anything I'm not strapped into bothers me. Soarin' bothered me a little more than I thought it would. It wasn't bad, but I did have that feeling of wanting to jump out of my seat (if that makes sense to you). I would definitely ask to be on one of the row 3s. You are not nearly as high on these, and it is notceable. It is a great attraction, and I found that if you sit back and keep your head against the head rest, it is MUCH better. I go on it multiple times each trip, so definitely give it a go.

As for the others, EE you should be fine with since most of the ride is built onto the side of the mountain. So, you are not that far above solid ground (albeit created) for most of the attraction.

Hulk also isn't that bad because the tall portions are very quick and right out of the gate. As with many B&M coasters, the second half of the ride is incredibly weak in design, and you really aren't very high up. Kraken (a solid B&M) and the others are more typical "big coasters".

Have fun and good luck!

Wow, dude I know exactly what you mean, I went 4 years ago and skipped alot of the big rides at Universal. Since then I've manned up a bit and I've ridden some wicked coasters. Kingda Ka for instance, the world's tallest and fastest rollercoaster. But I know one of the things that really got me is the "slow-climb" and you really don't get that with most of the coasters at Disney. Hulk for instance shoots you up, so you don't have that long anticipation where you can see the park and know the inevitable drop is coming.

Dr. Doom's fearfall is so hit-or-miss. I've ridden Scream at Six-Flags and it's essencially the same ride, an outside Tower of Terror. You're strapped in really well but the anticpation of the launch might really freak you out, even still once you're at the top they like to play with you, leave you up there for a few seconds, drop, repeat. It's really freaky and I think alot more testing to a person with fear of heights then ToT.

I'm going back in 4 days and Universal/IoA is the first thing we're doing so I've got some fun ahead of me, good luck!

Escape from Mount Everest? :veryconfu

Maybe this is a new addition to ride where the train stops at the top of the mountain and you have to find your way out while being chased by the Yeti!

My best friend is scared of heights, and the only thing he had a problem with was Soarin when we sat in the top row. He was fine in the other two. And he didn't go on ToT but he wants to try it next time.
We did everything else in WDW and he loved it all.

I agree with the poster that said if you can handle ToT, you can handle all the WDW attractions. When it comes to fear or heights, ToT is definitely the most intense attraction to be on! The climb in Expedition Everest, as mentioned, may get to you but just keep your eyes on the person's head in front of you (I, being in love with heights, was the person leaning over as much as I could to look down lol).

My brother and best friend both have issues with heights and were okay on Soarin' and Everest... ToT was the worst for them but they both went on it. I think you'll be okay :)
