Starring Rolls cupcakes!! :)

My other highlights include:
-ToT - one of my favorite rides, so that's a huge draw for me.
-TSMM - awesome ride, fun queue, always a great competition for my DH and I (and my son is a huge TS fan)
-Star Tours - I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I love it. And I was the Rebel Spy on our last trip! I was ridiculously excited. Nerd alert!! :D
-Fantasmic - awesome show!
-Osborne Lights - I got to see them on the last day they were up in January, and they were so magical!
-Villains in Vogue is one of my favorite stores.

I will say that this is my least favorite park as far as food goes. I've been disappointed by multiple meals there. Luckily, the caupcakes make up for it!

For me, I love the architechture and themeing, as well as the street performers.

Unfortunately, you're not into RNR and ToT because they are two of the funnest rides on property (you should just do the ToT queue one day and chicken out at the exit before boarding, the queue alone in worth it).

Besides those rides, there are some great shows at DHS too if you haven't checked them out (INDY, Little Mermaid and Fatasmic are all great!).

Just wanted to add that the "One Man's Dream" attraction is a MUST SEE. Yes, it deserves a much better theater. Yes, the film badly needs to be cleaned up (shame on you, TDO!) But it tells a wonderful, poignant and funny story of the actual Walt Disney. It really adds a dimension to anyone's visit to Walt's park. And the exhibits within the building are terrific - all of the models of new and past Disney park attractions are alone worth the visit. BTW - has anyone here ever seen the Dancing Man (the first experimental audio-animatronic, inspired by Buddy Ebsen) in action? It just sits there while the film that was taken of Ebsen for reference plays overhead. It's kind of frustrating to watch that and then see that little figure just stand there in the beautiful miniature theater that Walt built. I would love to see it move just once!

When we went to Studios we only did a half day. So we watched a parade, went on Great Movie ride, Muppets 3d etc and then saw Fantasmic, which was incredible. So maybe do it that way, do a half day at a park you love, then hop accross in the afternoon for MIL. She can soak in the atmosphere, you can ride the pick of the best rides ( I am not a roller coaster person either), and then all of you can watch a fantastic show.

Individual attractions?? Great! TSMM, ToT, RnRC, ST2, LMA, MV3D, IJESSS, GMA, etc .. all good to very good IMO. Park cohesion and theme?? Total fail. Walking through the park is painful to me .. so many unused areas (ex. Echo Lake, Sounds Dangerous, AI? ha, etc), no cohesive theming, several small thoroughfares (ex. going from ST2 over to Streets of America area). The downfall of HS in my opinion is directly related to the crapification (can I say that?) of the Backlot tour. Hopefully they have big plans for that park .. they need to decide what it is. Is it a working studio? Is it about the movies? Is it a dumping ground for attractions that don't fit anywhere else? Sure would be great to see it get an overhaul.
