help me decide (crowds)

April 3-5 are all 9's on the touringplans.com crowd calendar, while May 1-3 are rated a 4, 6 and 8.
So if it were me, there would be no question about it....May!!

We go over the beginning of May usually and find it a great time to go. School is not out yet and the weather is usually in the upper 80s to low 90s (which is high but happens.)
Saturdays are busier due to locals, and schools doing end of year outings, but I vote for May over April.

I would have to agree that May would be the beeter time to go. We have been twice in May and it has been wonderful as far as crowds and weather.
I hear you on the extra month to wait, but it will be well worth it to deal with less crowds!

Yep no it's brainer - May.
Been there both times and I find in April you will hit families on a Easter break. (That's when a lot of people from my area go! We don't have a "Spring Break" we actually still have an "Easter Break" for schools). While in early May there isn't really a major vacation to cause a spike in attendance plus most families with older children are now at home because it's too close to the end of the school year and exams.
