Rose and Crown is a very good choice for dinner too, fish and chips are awesome. For breakfast I think I have to go with Chef Mickey's for breakfast too, just sounds like a great way to start off a birthday then going over to MK on the Monorail, gosh wish I was going with you!!

While we are in Disney my son will be celebrating his birthday (10) and so will my DH (41)

I was thinking of taking DS to Chef Mickey's on his bday but not sure if the breakfast or dinner would be better? Or is there another good character meal that you would reccomend? He does like Lilo and Stitch too. I really want to make this birthday specail for him.

For DH's bday we plan on having the kids (have a 7 yo DD also) stay in the Cub's Den at WL where we are staying and we'd go to Epcot for the evening he's a meat and potato kind of guy nothing fancy (kind of limits us really :( )

Any suggestions tips etc?? :)

Chef Mickeys for breakfast for sure. my fiancee and myself were there with our 3 kids in june. we took them to chef mickeys for breakfast they had the most wonderful time! and so did we i must say lol !

I would give this general advice: Always choose character breakfast over character dinner! CRT, Askerhaus, Tusker (don't thnk they even do dinner character) buffets are better at breakfast (CRT is technically not a buffet).

I would disagree with you 100%. Just my opinion. I would always choose the dinner over breakfast.

can you specify why? Just wondering :)

great review thanks :)

Personally we like the dinner because of the variety, salads, soups, kids food, seafood, pasta, desserts, etc. We have gone for dinner the last 10 years and will be back next year. Again this is just our opinion. We are not breakfast eaters at all. I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience at Chef Mickeys. The kids love it and we parents, love it!

Really? Why? We've had 1900 and Tusker dinners, and weren't that impressed. I will say dinner might be a better choice for those who don't want to rise and shine early! No big deal, just curious as to why that is your preference...

**edit**---hope no one misinterprets what I am saying here. The dinner was fine, but there was not a great deal of separation from the other buffets in the World. Of course, the same can be said for breakfast...we just prefer a sit-down TS for dinner.
