Well we are getting ready to leave as soon as my husband gets home from work for NC and will be in FL on Saturday. A co-worker of his was in WDW last week and came back telling him that they were offering photo pass for 40% off at the MVMCP. He was also told by this co-worker that the photopass we pre purchased would not be good at the VMCP, meaning that the pics from there could not be on the same CD and if we want that we have to buy something different in addition to what was bought. Is there any truth to this? We are attending the party Tuesday and I just don't want to be caught off guard

The 40% off is a discount on prints only. In other words, you can have any photo taken at MVMCP and purchase prints in the parks or online when you return for 40% off.
Your pre-purchased photo CD is still good and well worth it.
(They had the same promo during the Pirate and Princess Parties. All my photos (P&P Party or not) were all on my photo pass and when I ordered prints, they applied the 40% discount to them all.)

I just pre-purchased my PhotoPass CD for my trip next week. I will be going to MVMCP, and I know they give you a separate photo card for the party. If I understand correctly, can I include the party photos on my CD also?

When we went last December we had photos added to our existing photopass card during MVMCP and when I went to the website there was nothing that indicated that they were 40% off....:shrug: Do you need to get a separate photopass card?

They usually give you a special MVMCP photopass card. In fact, my DH did not know this and he handed our regular card to the first photographer we used that night, and the photographer would not take it....he gave us the MVMCP card to use during the party.
