Help- Highchair question!

As a mom leaving for Disney in a week I need" some help/advice. I have a seven month old who is able to sit in "regular" high chairs with a back but not yet the wooden ones found in many restaurants. The back is not high enough and is very wobbly still! Are all the high chairs in Disney restaurants the wooden ones? Does anyone know if they have another option for smaller babies? He has maxed out the weight limit on his carrier seat that used to fit in a chair and I also do not want to lug that around Disney. Any help or knowledge would be most appreciated! Thanks :)

We were there with our 6 month old and thought of the same thing. When we were at Chef Mickey's they have infant ones that are like a car seat sitting on top of a high chair. You just need to ask for one and they are kept right by the rest of the high chairs. If you want, send me a pm with your email address and I can email you a pic of my son in one. I believe they have these at all restaurants. If they don't have one, you could also bring in your stroller and let him sit in that while you're eating. They usually only do that when they are sleeping, but I had to push one day since I thought he was going to go to sleep and they let him in (even though he decided after we got in there he wasn't tired!). Don't worry, you're in Disney. They'll take good care of you AND your baby!

Thanks so much. Chef Mickey's is one of our reservations so it is good to know at least they have that and hopefully others do too. I had thought about the stroller but it is so big and I know they don't like to allow them in. I was hoping since it is Disney they would have thought of this issue but haven't found many places that do so it makes me nervous!

I asked about their stroller policy and they said if the baby was sleeping that it was ok. You will notice several strollers inside the restaurant. The one we took it into was Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. After we got inside, there were about 7 others that we saw on our way to our table and all the babies were wide awake. I think they are tough because they don't want everyone to bring their strollers in, but if they don't have a high chair acceptable for your little one, I'd argue that fact. Ours it a big travel system and it fit fine by our table. They just took one chair out and rolled him right up to it. Plenty of room. If you need to bring it in, you just might have to wait a few extra minutes for them to seat you at a table that would accommodate a stroller.

Remember you are at Disney, kids are considered to be the rule :p

The restaurants always gave us the option or offered us a highchair or booster. However, we visit jan/feb and not during maximum capacity times either.

you might want to look into one of those floppy high chair covers, I found those help give a little extra support to babies who are not totally sitting on there own yet.
