So I caved in today and got the water park option added to our park hoppers for our August trip. How often do you guys go to the water parks on your trip? a full day? several times for a couple of hours each? What should we make sure not to miss?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Now, does anyone know if they still do water park specific mugs or are they the generic mugs that all of the resorts now have? 12 days til WDW...can't wait to hit those water parks!

I believe the water park mugs are still park specific because you can reuse them by purchasing a new barcode.

Does anyone know if the $20 towels are any better quality than the towels I buy in the Disney store? I don't think we will be spending at least $40 if I could get a better deal at home.

I don't think that you get ANY Disney-related park- or attraction-merchandise in any Disney-Store outside the parks. I am quite sure, that you get TL-towels ONLY in TL and nowhere else, just as you get EE-souvernirs only in Serka Zong, TZToT only in the exit area etc. And I can't say something about the quality in comparison because I don't know the quality of towels from normal disney stores.

Is there a charge for the lockers? If so, how much and are they coin operated or what?

Large lockers are $12, but you get $5 back when you return the key(Making them $7 in the end). They can be rented at numerous locations(You'll see signs). I wouldn't bother with the small lockers(They really are small!).

When we visit Disney we tend to stay for 2 weeks. As we have plenty of time we often visit a water park in the morning and then go to one of the parks from mid-afternoon. It's quite relaxing and doesn't get you as tired compared to a full day in the park. Last time we went to both BB and TL twice and loved every minute. Not to be missed is Crush'n'Gusher at TL which is a sort of WaterCoaster with inflatable rings (keep your bum lifted up though!!!). You can take a snorkel with fish and some sharks at Shark Reef.. again at TL. At BB it depends on how brave you are. Summit Plummit is an experience you won't want to miss if you don't mind dropping 120ft in 3 seconds. We prefer the family raft ride (Teamboat Springs..I think!!). It's a really long ride in large inflatable raft and is great fun. Both have excellent lazy rivers where you can relax and float right around both water parks.... but watch out for the freezing water from the sneezing alligator. Have a great time as I'm sure you will.

We're looking forward to this, but how does it work exactly? Should we bring our own snorkels? Do people re-use the same ones? :lookaroun Is there an extra charge? Time limit? THANKS!

I Have a premium pass and I intend to use it as much as I can and hit the water parks when it's too hot in the theme parks, that is, around 2 or 3 pm. I've read that the parks close at 8pm . Will they let me enter and will it be too crowded?
