Help compiling Find it List

Hey going for a visit next month. Was looking for help compiling a Find it list with point values. Thought it be a fun game to try while in the parks. If anyone has any ideas please add them.

2 pts - Tour Group
2 pts - Mickey Ears
2 pts - Water Fountain
2 pts - Family with matching shirts
2 pts - Kid alseep in stroller
3 pts - Child on "Leash"
3 pts - Child Crying
4 pts - Fastpass on the ground
4 pts - Philadelphia Sports apparel
4 pts - Hidden Mickey
4 pts - Birthday Pin

You mentioned Philly sports apparel, so I'm guessing you are from that area, so maybe other "local" things, like Philadelphia T-Shirt or license plate in parking lot.

Specific character walking around
A couple with the bride & groom Mickey ears
Someone using those fans attached to a water bottle
A ride with ZERO waiting time on the sign

Getting immersed in the parks will probably make everyone abandon this game quickly, but when they start standing in line for attractions, it is a great way to pass the time. We do similar things, just to get our minds off of waiting.

I had a whole bunch of ideas, and forgot them after I started typing. I'll try to think of more.

I seriously doubt that you will be able to keep up with how many Mickey Ears that you see. The game sounds like something fun to do that will be engaging for the kids. I would try and make things a little harder to find though.

I had a CM tell me once that they are required to put at least 5 minutes. With my luck they were wrong, therefore making me look like a butt-head.

We do fun things like:
-taking bets on which row on the ride we'll get seated, winner has to buy drinks.
-Actual wait time (using a cell phone timer or something)
-bets on Buzz Light Year scores


Some ideas for your game might include:
-Spotting CMs with mickey hands
-Hidden Mickeys?
-Spotting mickey shaped ice cream

-Hearing some one ask what time the 3:00 parade is?
-Seeing some one dressed from the Pirate League or Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Woo Hoo, Philadelphia Sports apparel! Better be a LOT of Phillies gear down there to represent!!

If I may first...... No way to keep track of Child Crying and Sleeping in Stroller (forget the fact that you made the child crying more points?). Seriously, you'll see both of those at EVERY turn.

Other ideas? How about not just Birthday Pins? How about "Family Reunion" "1st visit" and "Anniversary" pins?

Or, add not-so-common characters to the list for 10 points. Someone hard to spot? Perhaps in Hollywood Studios, the first to spot the "pretend cop" roaming the streets gets 5 pts or something like that? Maybe a certain button on a CM?

We play a game like that - which color honey pot will we get? which dwarf cart will we get? Things like that. We never really bet on it - we just brag if we're right. :lol:

It doesn't help that the money comes from the same bank account.... At least I don't have to talk to anyone or get my wallet out, pure laziness.

I thought that was just another Disney thing, like tour groups? I even commented to my wife the last time we were at Hollywood Studios about the amazing number of Phillies fans. I counted 30+ people in Phillies gear in a short period of time before losing interest.

We have played a similar game, but it's hard to keep track of point values...so we made up grids as a kind of bingo game...worked so much easier!

My husband and I have talked about making a game sort of like this -- but as bingo sheets and whoever gets a bingo has the loser buy them a drink (or ice cream or whatever.)
Since we frequent the parks a LOT, some of the topics we came up with were a little snarky -- Parent yelling at a child, guest yelling at spouse, guest on the phone in a ride, guest falling down drunk, guest running across the parade route during the parade.
Then we had other thinks like someone looking at a map while walking, balloon tied to a stroller, ice cream melting on the sidewalk, balloon escaping, bird eating spilled popcorn, etc.
We just never actually put it together.
