TS are scarce in MK. All that's left after Tony's and CP are dropped are LTT, CRT and Plaza.

I dislike LTT, the food is an uninspired Thanksgiving dinner and I had my only truly horrible service experience there.

Plaza is quaint, but the menu is fairly limited.

I've never had dinner or lunch at CRT, but the breakfast was pretty good. Expensive though.

IMO the answer to the title is Tony's.

My husband and I ate at Liberty Tree in October. We actually loved it! We were there for lunch and both had the turkey. It was excellent- like Thanksgiving on a plate! It came with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green beans. We requested cranberry sauce it was prompty brought out to us. Our waitress was fantastic- very attentive. Even brought us more gravy halfway through the meal. We would return there in a heartbeat!
One thing I will say is that our experience there was lengthy. It took us about 40 minutes to be seated with an ADR (our only wait longer than 15 minutes our whole 10 trip, so really not a huge deal). It was however the only restaurant where we did not feel rushed at all. We were allowed to eat at our own pace and take our times. So thats probably why the turnover was slow. From the time we walked in, until the time we walked out, about 2 hours had gone by.
Still, the food was excellent and we would gladly return someday.

We also love Tony's but have never eaten at CRT, CP or the Plaza.

The family I nanny for went to Disney in December and took their 4 year old to dinner at CRT. They said that the food was only so-so. Also, only the mice came around to each table. The Fairy Godmother briefly came into the room to say hello but never went around the each table. So they were disappointed.

We had a similar experience at CRT this last August. It was the first time we had taken our DD's there, and it was nice (they enjoyed it), but wasn't really very "magical" like I was hoping for being in the castle and the $$. It definitely sounds like the better time for CRT is breakfast or luch whne the princesses make an appearance.

As far as the OP's request for CP info, we would recommend the Crystal Palace if it is open (I thought I heard somewhere it was seasonal there). The food was good and our server was fantastic. It's a buffet so more choice options for the picky eaters.

Not old, just vintage.
MK is my least favorite place to have a TS meal in. Options are definitely limited. If I absolutely must have a sit down meal in the park (I much prefer monorailing to the Contemporary and eating at The Wave) my choices are LTT and The Plaza. I know many don't like Liberty Tree but I don't mind it. It is basically a TV dinner on a fancy plate, but I'm used to frozen dinners. I've never experienced the issues with service that many report. I think I have just gotten lucky.

The Plaza is good but the menu isn't very robust. It is mainly sandwiches and salads. The prices are great though. Every server that I have encountered there has been excellent too.

I generally avoid CRT (total chaos, crappy food, crazy prices) and Crystal Palace (too crowded and I'm not a huge buffet fan).

Crystal Palace only closes for renovations, it isn't seasonal.

Best explanation ever! And precisely why I said the food was uninspired. Prefab TV-dinner style Thanksgiving dinner just does nothing for me. I want food that a human being prepared for me recently when I'm dining at WDW.

I've actually eaten there a few times. Only had the really terrible service once.

We had a server who showed up at our table after we'd been seated for 15 minutes, took our drink order and ignored us for the rest of the meal. Other servers delivered the drinks and the meal, nobody stopped by to ask if everything was OK [it wasn't, the meal was cold when we got it], never got refills [asked other passing servers who said they'd tell our server]. We never got dessert and our server "dropped off" our bill without stopping or making eye contact. One of the Character Attendants noticed me trying to get the server's attention and came over. When I described what had gone on, she went and found a Manager who promptly comped the meal. I purposely left the server a 1-cent tip, the only time in my life I've ever left less than 15-20%.

That incident combined with the aforementioned "TV-dinner" nature of the meal [all the food is Stouffer's] means I'll just never go back.

So not as much the place, more the service of the servers!!! After that no one would blame you for never setting foot in there again
