Sorry to bother again...

After arriving in NY from Brazil and goin to Washington (can't wait to see the White House) we will be flying to MCO.

My question is: wich one airtrain airways or US airways???
Which one is safest?

PS: if you don't remember me...I am the one that is scared to death of flying.

Thanks.

All airlines are equally as safe. Eveery passenger goes through the same security measures and all airlines rotate planes for maintainence.

Yes - both airlines are quite safe. I think you might find that USAir has a better record for being ontime, but both are equally safe. Just try to get one with a direct flight, so you won't have to deal with changing planes or anything.
Relax and enjoy your trip! :animwink:

If you are staying in DC, Regan National is a little easier to get to and a little easier to navigate through than Dulles or BWI. However, if you don't like flying the take-offs and landings at Regan are a little disconcerting. Basically, the plane flies over the airport, stops, and falls on the runway. (An exageration, but not by much.) If this is going to cause you a lot of anxiety, then stick to Dulles or BWI.

Have a nice trip.

Between US Airways domestic coach and Airtran Coach, I'd prefer Airtran as they have a superior product and higher service standards.

Another option, check Southwest Airlines (southwest.com)

I think we'll go by Airtran leaving at Regan National....

You got me scared, are the take-offs like that too?:(

Hint for traveling on a plane..... make sure you find yourself a Marine.
You will be safe gauranteed.

Unless the Marine is married and his wife gives you the stinkeye. OR unless in the event of a water landing, the Marine can be used as a flotation device. You might be better off in your own seat with your own party. Just saying.
