Help! Adding one more night to Disney Package

Hi Guys,
So I had my trip for April all booked. Our plan was to do one night at a Universal onsite hotel to start, and then go to Disney and check in at PORS. Well was thinking, we have small kids and were thinking we might shoot back to Orlando later in the year for a Seaworld/Universal trip instead, and then have more time at Disney this time, and save some money in the process. My question is, how hard is it for us to add that first night to our package? Can it be done? We booked through AAA....

Disney allows you to add/change things up to 44 days before I believe w/o penalty. I am sure AAA shouldn't have a problem. I know you have to CALL to change any reservations through Disney. But, AAA should be able to accommodate you.:)

It's usually easier to add a night onto the end than it is to add it onto the beginning; it may just be easier to have a room only reservation for that first night.

Ask them first to see if the package can be changed, if not, go the 2 reservation route.

One other question, my agent is out till Monday, if I just booked one night myself at the same resort, same category room, would they be able to link my reservation when I get there so I don't have to change rooms? Can I also get my park tickets a day early and then add a day to them? I guess thats two questions :-)

There is no guarantee that you will not have to change rooms with two reservations. Granted it is not common, but it is always a possibility. To be safe I would wait for your agent for Monday and ask them to add it into the original package. Have a great trip! Marie
