Question...I have been reading these boards forever and feel like everyone is family. How great to listen and talk to other Disney lovers! I unfortunately have a "sad" question....my husband & I have been planning a trip this Sept. 2008 with his parents. We had a devastating tragedy this May. My mother-in-law passed away in a horrific house fire. She was only 57 and had years left to give us & her 7 grandchildren. Before this trip, they had taken us to Disney every year.....anyways, in her memory we'd love to do something "permanent" at Disney. I've been told that the Magic Kingdom and Epcot no longer sell memorial blocks/spaces. Is there anything, anywhere in Disney that we can leave mom's "mark"? Any help would be great!
Sorry to be such a downer on my 1st post!!!!

Sorry to hear about your M-i-L. My father actually is in the hospital now (he had brain surgery). The only thing I can think of is the Leave a Legacy at EPCOT. And I thought I saw recent bricks on my last trip, so it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Best wishes!

I am pretty sure that they are no longer selling spots on leave a legacy at Epcot but you might sill be able to get the bricks. If no one gives you an answer I would send an e-mail to guest communications, tell them your situation and see what magic they can work.

Welcome to WDWMagic, and my condolences on your situation.

I'd follow Master Yoda's suggestion of emailing guest relations... or I would also suggest calling the WDW switchboard (the number's in my signature) and asking to be connected with Guest Relations.
